I need to cancel my commercial business trip. Will my insurance cover it?
Cancelation is not an integrated part of the insurance, but in some cases it is included. Contact your employer if you are in doubt. When coverage is included, we cover in the case that you or someone in your family fall acutely ill and thus prevent you from traveling.
My flight has been cancelled. Will my insurance cover the expenses?
The insurance does not cover the cancelled plane ticket. When the airline cancels a flight, it is their responsibility to offer you a new ticket for a different departure. If they are unable to do so, they are obligated to refund your ticket.
My flight has been delayed. Will my insurance cover a new ticket?
When a flight is delayed, it is the responsibility of the airline to rebook you to a different departure or refund your ticket. The insurance does cover additional expenses related to waiting for a later departure and not covered by the airline, i.e. lodging, food, drink and reading material.
